Blacklisters Sign to Brew Records
8th Jul 2011
There's already been mention on the pages of Grumpyrocker about the burgeoning Leeds music scene (see Mishkin and Club Smith). With the likes of Hawk Eyes, These Monsters, Castrovalva, Humanfly and Kong already on their books, Leeds based label Brew Records have now signed up noise rockers Blacklisters, but that isn't all they are also giving away a free download of their single Swords.
A Brew Records spokesperson said:-
"It is with great pleasure we welcome Leeds' strongest and most handsome men Blacklisters who today have joined our swelling roster. You might have seen them on our split 10" with DTTR and tours in the past with the like of Kong, Pulled Apart By Horses and tearing holes at Leeds and Reading Festival. A full length is planned for early next year aswell as hard touring throughout 2011. Be sure to catch your favorite nice guys of the ever expanding noise rock scene on the road.
To celebrate this we are offering up a free download of Swords. Be sure to grab it over on the bands bandcamp page."
