Honour Before Glory New EP

Despite the slight delay with debut album This is Broken Lines (October 2011 was the original date) Honour Before Glory are about to release another EP titled The Maison EP and yet again it's a very addictive stripped down affair, with a rather wonderful video which is a mixture of HAL and Bettlejuice attic visuals as you'll see if you click this vimeo link. The full press release reads:-
Honour Before Glory is the new solo project from Whiskas (¡Forward, Russia! / Dance To The Radio). While initially little material emerged at first it was immediately picked up by the likes of Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens, and warranted comparisons as varied as M83, Wolf Parade and My Bloody Valentine by a host of blog admirers.
“The Maison EP” released on 6th February, is the first snippet from the upcoming album ”This is broken lines” and is the result of 4 years of playing, messing around, learning and coming to terms with being in a band with no one else to fall back on and the freedom and the constraints of having no one to answer to.
Featuring additional help from friends from bands such as I Like Trains, Duels,Shut Your Eyes & You'll Burst Into Flames - as well as being mastered by Tom from Forward Russia the record was entirely produced by Whiskas in Leeds, largely last Summer, with the finishing sprinkles of gloss being added in the first half of 2011.
“This is Broken Lines” is set for release on 5th March through the new Leeds' label Listen to the Silence, which like Dance to the Radio was set up by Whiskas to provide a platform for himself and other artists in the city to work from.
