Picture the scene, you are at University, you are playing bass and your musical passions find you playing in a number of different bands. As you get older you decide that there is more money in computers and end up first programming and eventually setting up your own technology business. It is a probably a familiar tale to some; with substitution of computer / technology for a different field of business and bass for any other band position. Twenty five years after strumming your last chord with a band and spending your days in a swivel chair behind a screen, imagine not only picking up an instrument, but actually finally producing your debut album. At the age of 49 that’s what Mike Marlin did and Jimbo with hope in his heart listens to Mike’s debut album Nearly Man.
