For the Love of God - Turn It Off!

Oh my giddy aunt, I know this record is for charity and everything, but the cover of Walk This Way (the Aerosmith/Run DMC version) by the Sugarbabes and Girls Aloud is without any doubt the worst sound I've ever heard. No not the worst music, the worst sound. Surely we'd rather have child poverty than actually reward this shite with any money?

...

And having sat through that crap, did you notice a lot of Aerosmith's lyrics missing? No, maybe my ears were protecting me at some points.

And how is such a simple riff so badly mangled?

Oh lord it's so fecking awful.

Luckily I have no sound at work (plus Youtube videos now don't work), but the idea of Girls Aloud and Sugababes (no 'r' mate)...well I wonder if it's a reject part of Channel 4's series that I posted the other day :D

Heard this the other day on Chartshow TV. Whilst not a brilliant cover, it was okay (I didn't like the original much mind you).

Covers tend to go one of two ways:

    1) a note for note reproduction of the original in every way. These are a bit pointless imho

    2) something based on the original. these can be interesting or crap, depending on your point of view.

    Nice video though :)
